Scope

Design & Construct

Restoration to a heritage-listed winery cottage and conversion into a restaurant - café.

We work hand to hand with our client, taking over from the design stage and dealings with the commercial complex landlord; commercial complex building company and finally building the café to a new standard of design and quality for the Fibonacci Family.

To demolish the majority of internal walls substituting them with an "industrial Steel Grid that support what in our opinion was the most significant feature of the area: a great pyramidal shingle roof that unfortunately was cover with corrugated iron, but now could be seen from underneath as the ceiling was removed.

The footprint of removed walls were marked with steel plates matching the structure and industrial overhead shelving.

We used our preferred timber Blackbutt, and once again with prepared the benches joining the planks ourselves.
